The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the HDFC Bank is Mr. Sashidhar Jagdishan.
In 1996, Mr. Jagdishan (Sashi) started working for the bank as a manager in the finance department. In 1999, he was named Business Head for Finance, and in 2008, he was made Chief Financial Officer. Sashi has been essential in assisting the bank’s growth trajectory. Over the years, he has served as the finance function’s leader and has been essential in helping the business connect with its strategic goals. He was the bank’s strategic change agent before being named managing director and CEO, and he was also in charge of the departments of finance, human resources, legal & secretarial, administration, infrastructure, corporate communications, and corporate social responsibility.
