Ravikula Sriman Hiranyagarbha King Muthu Raghunatha Vijaya The first ruler of the Ramnad Kingdom, also known as the “Maravar Kingdom,” was Raja Raghunatha Deva Kilavan Setupati. In his rule, which lasted from 1673 to 1708, he oversaw the expansion of Ramnad’s feudal chieftainship into the potent “Ramnad Kingdom,” also known as the Maravar Kingdom.
