About: John Antonio Briceño father Elijio Briceño was a government minister in the 1980s, but in 1985 was convicted of conspiring to smuggle marijuana and cocaine into the United States, with the indictment naming a brother and a nephew as co-conspirators; in September 1985, his father was sentenced to seven years in prison. Briceño graduated from Muffles College in 1978. He earned an associate degree in business administration from St. John’s College in 1980, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Texas at Austin in 1985.
